Mr. Campion is founder and Chairman of APR Energy. Early in his career, Mr. Campion founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Showpower Inc., a portable generator company serving the entertainment industry. Showpower was acquired by GE Energy Rentals, where Mr. Campion held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Later, Mr. Campion served as President of Alstom Power Rentals, a subsidiary of Paris-based Alstom Power Inc., before it was acquired by Mr. Campion in 2004 and become APR Energy. Under Mr. Campion’s leadership, APR Energy has grown from a single project in Sri Lanka to become a global leader in fast-track power solutions, providing access to electricity to approximately 40 million people in more than 30 countries on five continents.
Mr. McLean is a Portfolio Manager at Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fairfax Financial. He is the International Portfolio Manager for Fairfax insurance subsidiary investment portfolios in the Middle East/Africa (Gulf Insurance Group), Singapore (First Capital Insurance) and Malaysia (Pacific Insurance). Mr. McLean is currently on the board of Gulf Insurance Group based in Kuwait, AFGRI Ltd and First Capital Insurance. Initial work experience was in the public accounting profession including work in audit and tax. Subsequently, Mr. McLean entered the investment management profession as an investment analyst working for an Institutional Investment Manager in Toronto, Canada, focusing on international equities (Europe and Asia). He is a Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA designation).
Mr. Wernink, Managing Director at Albright Capital Management (ACM), has more than 20 years of experience on Wall Street, including 16 years in emerging markets and 13 years in emerging markets private equity. At ACM, he has focused on investments in electric power, financial services, agribusiness, clean technology and infrastructure sub-sectors. Before joining ACM, Mr. Wernink was a director of Citigroup Venture Capital International, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring, and management of private equity investments in Latin America, the Caribbean and the U.S. Hispanic market, including investments in telecommunications, media and environmental services. Earlier, he was a Vice President of Citicorp Securities, Inc. originating and structuring syndicated leverage and asset-based loans. Mr. Wernink has served on the board of directors of Electro Sur Medio SA, Promotora Ambiental, SA de CV, Cablemas, SA de CV, Digicel Limited, and Avantel Holdings, Ltd.
Mr. Weuder is Vice President, Head of Global Direct Investments at the ATP Group, a Denmark-based pension and investments company. Earlier, he served as the company’s Vice President, Head of Alternative Investments and as Portfolio Manager, ATP Investments. Prior to joining ATP in 2007, Mr. Weuder was Programme Manager for the United National Environmental Programme, focusing on financing and environmental economics. He is a permanent member of ATP’s Committee on Environment, Social and Governance, and serves as Chairman of the company’s ATP Infrastructure Spain ApS, and is CEO of ATP Timberland Invest K/S. Mr. Weuder also is a member of the board of directors of Redexis Gas, and earlier served as an observer on the board of directors of Hancock Queensland Plantations and Element Power.
Mr. Bentinck is Chief Financial Officer of Fairfax Africa Holdings Limited, an investment holding company publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange focused on investing in Africa. Prior to this role, Mr. Bentinck served as a consultant to Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited that provides global investment management services to the insurance and reinsurance subsidiaries of Fairfax. Mr. Bentinck has over 20 years of public company experience in the natural resources and energy sectors, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Potash Ridge Corporation, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Capital Projects at Sherritt International Corporation and Chief Financial Officer of Royal Utilities Income Trust. Mr. Bentinck also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in corporate finance, restructuring, and audit. Mr. Bentinck holds an M.A. in Accounting from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland and is a Chartered Accountant.
