Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ferry has 35 years of military and private-sector leadership experience. Prior to joining APR Energy in 2016, Mr. Ferry was General Manager and Vice President for Operations at ARMA Global Corporation, which he helped grow from 80 employees and $20 million in annual revenues to 1,200 employees and $200 million in annual revenues. Previously he was an Operations Manager, Business Developer and Consultant with several defense contracting companies. He spent 26 years on active duty in the U.S. Army serving in Infantry, Ranger, and Special Operations Units to include 48 months of combat in Somalia, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Crowell has more than 25 years of experience as an executive in finance and accounting. Prior to joining APR Energy, Mr. Crowell served as Senior Vice President of Finance for World Fuel Services, Inc., where he managed a global portfolio of markets that had annual revenues of approximately $9 billion. He also successfully served in senior global finance roles at GE, KBR and KPMG, which included international assignments in Wales and Singapore. Mr. Crowell earned a dual bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
Chief Commercial Officer
Mr. Marcroft has more than 25 years of experience in the power generation industry and was one of APR Energy’s original employees. As a senior member of the commercial team, he has been involved with all of the company’s deals since its inception. Prior to joining APR Energy, Mr. Marcroft spent more than 10 years in the industrial gas turbines division of Alstom, based in the United Kingdom. Mr. Marcroft holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering as well as a master’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in strategy and marketing.
Mr. Aberdeen has nearly 30 years of engineering experience. As Chief Engineer, he is responsible for all aspects of engineering for APR Energy, including plant design, ongoing operations, and the research and development of future energy solutions and equipment. Mr. Aberdeen spent nearly 20 years in the British Army and provided counsel to various government agencies including the UK Ministry of Defence. Mr. Aberdeen earned a bachelor’s degree in aeromechanical systems engineering and a master’s degree in science with a concentration in electrical and mechanical engineering, both from Cranfield University. He also underwent training at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and the Royal School of Military Engineering.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Mr. Emanuel has more than 30 years of global human resources experience. Prior to joining APR Energy in 2016, he was Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at CIT. Mr. Emanuel also has held senior human resources positions at Anchutz Entertainment Group, /Bowne & Co./RRDonnelley and Citigroup. Early in his career, he held labor relations and contract compliance positions with organizations in the heavy construction and EPC industries including Kiewit-Shea Constructors, BCC Mechanical and the National Association of Minority Contractors. Mr. Emanuel holds a bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University, where he studied history and pre-law.
Mr. DiCamillo has nearly 30 years of experience in law and government affairs. Prior to joining APR Energy, he was Vice President and General Counsel at Studsvik AB, a Swedish publicly traded company that specializes in sustainable nuclear solutions. A results-oriented, business-focused and value-driven professional, Joseph was recognized by the First Chair Awards as a Top General Counsel for his achievements as an in-house counsel in 2015. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and received his juris doctor at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1990.
