Company History

APR Energy as a business was initially established in August 2001 as a division of the Customer Service Segment of ALSTOM Power. In March 2004, John Campion and Laurence Anderson bought ALSTOM Power Rentals from ALSTOM Power and continued to operate with a licensing agreement under the ALSTOM brand until June 2008, when it was rebranded as APR Energy. In June of 2011, Horizon Acquisition Company acquired APR Energy, subsequently changing its name to APR Energy. In September of 2011 following the Horizon Acquisition transaction, APR Energy became a quoted public company on the London Stock Exchange.
