APR Energy's presence in Argentina is improving the country's energy situation through the installation and operation of its fast track power plants, ultimately delivering an additional 50 MW to the Argentinean electricity grid. These projects are in place for 3 years to help supply additional capacity to the grid due to higher than normal energy demand growth in both provinces. This additional generation has proven to be a reliable short-term energy solution that is ideal for the current power shortage in Argentina. APR Energy’s arrival has allowed these two provinces to maintain a consistent power supply as well as alleviate the concern for electrical blackouts or load shedding caused by increased stress on the grid.

In addition to providing Argentina with a dependable source of energy while more permanent plants are being developed, we are also highly focused on training and employing locals to help operate our power plants. Through local training and job creation, APR Energy hopes to provide the local people with the knowledge and tools necessary to continue work in the power sector, which ultimately helps improve the local economy. Even though APR Energy may only operate in locations on a temporary basis, we feel a strong connection to the local community wherever we go and we always do our upmost to give back in any way possible.

The FERINSE Expo was an exceptional event for APR Energy to become acquainted with the many large companies, both foreign and domestic, who are invested in the region. It was very apparent that we all shared the common goal of helping Argentina meet the needs of its citizens and maintain healthy economic growth. Our commitment to providing fast-track energy solutions to countries in need never changes and we always strive to satisfy the needs of not only our customers, but the local communities they serve.
