APR Energy is proud to announce that the 2009 Africa Energy Forum (AEF) was a huge success. As Africa’s largest annual power conference, AEF brings together the most influential people in the African energy sector, including government ministers, representatives from investment, financial and legal institutions, equipment manufacturers and contractors, utility executives and many others. In all, over 500 delegates from more than 38 countries attended this year’s AEF with APR Energy (APR) being one of 23 Forum Sponsors, specifically sponsoring the Coffee Hour. APR had the opportunity to speak with these delegates about the broad range of fast-track power projects we have completed in the Americas, Africa, Middle East and Asia, as well as how our Customized Turnkey Power Solutions can further benefit the continent of Africa in a wide variety of applications. The theme of this year’s Africa Energy Forum, “Electrifying Africa’s Future” was directly in line with APR’s goal of seeing Africa’s development flourish by way of making efficient, reliable electricity readily available to African utilities and industries. We believe that the energy prospects in Africa’s future are endless and greatly anticipate the opportunity to contribute to the success of the African people.
