APR Energy has an experienced management team led by one of the co-founders of the business, Laurence Anderson. With nearly 100 years of collective industry experience, our management team has a strong understanding of the global power market, its technologies, and the complex nature of project delivery requirements.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Campion is co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of APR Energy. Early in his career, Mr. Campion co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of Showpower Inc., a portable generator company serving the entertainment industry. Showpower was acquired by GE Energy Rentals, where Mr. Campion held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Later, Mr. Campion served as President of Alstom Power Rentals, a subsidiary of Paris-based Alstom Power Inc., before it was acquired by Mr. Campion and follow APR Energy co-founder Laurence Anderson in 2004.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Anderson is a co-founder of the business and 20-year veteran in the energy field. Early in his career, co-founded Showpower Inc., serving as Vice President and Director of Operations from 1987 until 1996, when he became President. Following the company’s acquisition by GE in 1999, he became a Vice President of Fleet Operations for GE Energy Rentals. In 2002, Mr. Anderson was hired as Vice President of Alstom Power Rentals and, in 2004, acquired the Alstom subsidiary together with John Campion to create APR Energy.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Munro has been with the Company since its early stages, serving as Senior Vice President and becoming CFO in August 2014. He has a very strong corporate finance and audit background from his 11 years at GE Capital, where he held a number of senior financial and leadership positions, most recently serving as CEO of GE European Operations Services. Mr. Munro has considerable experience with the installation and operation of APR Energy's power plants and has demonstrated a core competence managing these investments for the group. Mr. Munro holds an MBA from the University of North Texas.
General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. List has over 25 years of legal experience. Most recently, Mr. List was based in Sydney, Australia as the Asia Pacific General Counsel for Accenture. Additionally, Mr. List worked for Peoples Energy Corporation, and began his career as an associate at a boutique law firm in the Chicago area. Since joining APR in 2011, Mr. List has been responsible for compliance, the in-house legal practice, as well as managing the Company secretarial responsibilities. He has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds his law degree from DePaul University in Chicago.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Mr. Himebauch has more than 20 years of progressive human resources leadership experience in a variety of industries. During his career, Mr. Himebauch has held leadership roles with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Darden Restaurants and Wyndham Worldwide. Prior to joining APR Energy, Mr. Himebauch led the Human Resources team for Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc., supporting 521 stores and five distribution centers, employing over 48,000 employees. Mr. Himebauch joined APR Energy in January 2012. He holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Vice President of Information Technology
Mr. Friederich has over 25 years of IT technical and leadership experience spanning the chemical, consumer goods and energy industries. He has held senior IT leadership positions as Vice President of IT with Playtex Products, Director of Global Infrastructure at Energizer Holdings and Senior Director of IT at Abound Solar. Mr. Friederich joined APR Energy in July 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Information Systems from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Vice President of Marketing & Communications
Mr. Cavaceppi has 25 years of progressive leadership experience in international marketing and market development, and has a strong track record in developing international marketing programs and brand strategy. His experience includes 16 years with Lexmark International, a Fortune 500 information technology company, where he held a number of strategic management roles. Mr. Cavaceppi joined APR Energy in December 2011. He holds a BS degree from the University of Florida in Business Administration and an International MBA from the University of South Carolina.
